The April Tucson homes sales stats are out, and like the little engine that could, we continue to chug along in our recovery. Prices were actually mixed, with average sales price up 3.64% and median sale price down 1.55% from March. The average sale price of $232,988 was the highest in almost 10 years!
The number of homes sold was down 10% but this in part reflects a lack of inventory. The number of homes on the market was up just a tad (1.4%) but the number of homes coming onto the market was down 4.7%. Days on market was down again to 44, further reflecting the higher demand for homes.
Houses priced right and in good condition are selling quickly.
