Tucson home sale prices held steady in October. The average sale price was up 2.41% from September but the median sale price was down a slight 0.26%. Even so the October sale prices were up 10.33% and 8.39% respectively from one year ago. Total number of sales at 1,130 was up 7.52% from September but the total number of homes on the market grew by 9.67% to 5,173.
But we tend to see a slowdown this time of year. Activity typically picks up again after the holidays, so if our friends in Washington cooperate and don't create any more economic turmoil and concern, we should be looking good in 2014.
