Tucson's Santa Cruz Farmers Market Looks Towards Fall

It still feels like summer to me, but the Santa Cruz Farmers Market is off and running with a full schedule of Fall events.  On Thursday afternoon, their Fall Seed Exchange kicks off at the weekly westside Tucson farmers market.  Bring your extra seeds to trade for those you need.  They are also organizing their Fall 2012 Garden Workshops and looking for volunteers to help with the Fall Mesquite Milling which gets underway in November.

But you will still find a lot of wonderful summer vegetables at the market including squash, tomatoes, okra, eggplant and more.  The Santa Cruz Farmers Market is open 4-7pm each Thursday and is located at the Mercado San Agustin.  Click the link for more details on the market.   Santa Cruz Farmers Market
