I have been writing every few weeks about rates hitting new record lows. But how long will they stay this low? What are you waiting for? With low rates and low prices, your dream home is probably quite affordable. Give me a call.
More good news for the Tucson homes market and another reason not to delay buying. Business Insider has put Tucson on its Top 15 list of cities for the best projected housing markets over the next five years. Tucson is ranked at Number 8 nationally, with a projected annualized change in home prices between 2011 and 2016 of 8.2%. They note that Tucson home prices have plummeted 45.8 percent since their peak in Q1 2006 and our unemployment rate of 7.8 percent is below the national average. A link to the Best Cities is at the end of the article below.
It seems that I am posting this same headline every few weeks recently, but...here it is again.
Both 15-year and 30-year fixed rate home loans hit RECORD LOWS again last week!
Plus, Tucson home prices seem to be stabilizing, the number of sales is up and the supply of homes available to purchase is down. So if you have been putting off buying, know any potential first time buyers and renters who may find it cheaper to own than rent, or friends out of state considering buying that Tucson retirement house while prices are low, then give me a call.
And as a quiet, gentle reminder...HOME LOAN RATES HIT RECORD LOWS LAST WEEK!
Burnt adobe construction, mountain views, and three shady sitting patios highlight this Green Valley move-in ready townhome. With spacious patios, two bedrooms, a very nice eat-in kitchen, dining room, two updated bathrooms and a den, this home has everything the buyers were looking for.
This is a great time for retirees or "near-retirees" to find their Tucson retirement home, while prices and interest rates are low. Go to the top right of this page and click to start your free home search directly in the Tucson MLS or give me a call at 520.820.7204
New summer hours begin today at Tucson's Santa Cruz Farmers Market located at Mercado San Agustin, just off Congress and west of I-10. The market is now open from 4 to 7 pm each Thursday.
This week's market features a bee-keeping demonstration by honey vendor and bee keeper David Benton. Also a cooking demonstration by the Community Food Bank serving up a tasty dish prepared with locally raised honey.
And of course there will be the usual assortment of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods and more.
